Raspberry, peach and orange smoothie recipe

Discription:A quick and delicious smoothie recipe - perfect for summer
Ingredients
  • 125g frozen raspberries, left at room temperature for 15 mins to thaw a bit
  • 2 ripe peaches
  • 1 large orange
How to make:
  • Put the raspberries in a blender.
  • Peel, stone and roughly chop the peaches, then add to the raspberries. 
  • Squeeze the orange and pour into the blender. 
  • Whizz the fruit until smooth and thick.\ Divide between 2 tall glasses to serve.

Discription:Like a great party, this cool cocktail gets sweeter the longer it lasts
Ingredients
  • 2 tsp sugar (white or brown, depending on your preference. Brown tends to work well with darker spirits)
  • ½ a fresh lime chopped into quarters
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves
  • Crushed ice (put ice in a tea towel and smash it with a rolling pin)
  • 2 measures of rum
  • Soda to top
How to make:
  • Muddle sugar and limes in a Collins glass or a highball, using the end of a rolling pin to squeeze out the juice and start to dissolve sugar.
  • Add mint and muddle a little more.
  • Fill the glass with crushed or cracked ice. Add the rum and stir the ingredients to equally distribute flavour. Top with soda and a little more crushed ice to garnish.



Liqueur coffees recipe

Discription:What better way to end a stylish feast than with this wonderfully wicked liqueur coffee.
Ingredients:
  • 4 tbsp liqueur or spirit, such as Tia Maria, Cointreau, dark rum, brandy or whisky
  • 4-8 tsp Billington's Light Muscovado or Golden Granulated Sugar
  • 800ml freshly-made coffee, by whichever method you prefer
  • 150ml double cream
How to make:
  • Warm 4 glasses (about 250ml size) by filling them with hot water, then draining and drying off.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of your chosen liqueur and 1-2 teaspoons of sugar to each glass, according to taste, and top each one up with approximately 200ml fresh hot coffee.
  • Swirl to dissolve the sugar and then slowly pour the cream into each glass over the back of a teaspoon, so that it floats – do not stir it.

  • ice cubes
  • sugar to taste
How to make:
  • Blend together all the ingredients and serve chilled.
  • For health reasons one can omit sugar.





Pina Colada

Discription:Pina Colada is a kind of coconut flavor drink with addition of other juice flavor like pineapple juice or orange juice. In this recipe pineapple juice is used and you can see it clearly as it is reflected from the color of drink in the above picture. Coconut milk and cream both are used to give coconut flavor to this drink. This drink is perfect for any dinner , hi-tea or most likely as a party drink.
Ingredients:
  • 1 can pineapple
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • Sugar to taste
      How to make:
      • Add all the ingredients in blender and blend well enough to make smooth thin paste. 
      • Pina colada is ready to serve in glass.



      Banana Smoothie

      Discription:Smoothie can be prepared by anyone at anytime. Just mix milk and fruit in a blender or if you have one of those smoothie makers , your job will be more easier . One way or the other smoothies are easy to make . But to prepare good a smoothie , cream, condense milk,chocolate and other flavors can also be added. In this recipe I added chocolate and ice cream to give more taste and flavor to the original banana smoothie recipe.
      Ingredients:
      • 1 banana
      • 1 cup vanilla icecream
      • ½ cup chocolate chips
      • 2 tbspn cream
      • 1 tbspn coffee
      • ½ cup milk
      • Condense milk to taste
        How to make:
        • Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend well.
        • Pour the smoothie into the glass and pour some chocolate syrup drops on it. Delicious chocolate and banana smoothie is ready to serve.



        Mango Juice

        Discription:Mango juice is no doubt everyone's favorite but raw or fresh mango juice is hardly known in most of the western countries as it originates from South Asia where mango are found in vast quantity and in different varieties. Some people boil raw mango but its actual taste develops when it is roasted on an iron skillet and then taken out all its pulp to make juice. Its very healthy juice and also prevents from illness during extremely hot climatic conditions .
        Ingredients:
        • 1 kg raw mango (Karee; try to use those having very small seed inside or of small size)
        • ½ kg sugar or more (as you required; depends upon taste of kairee)
        • Water as required
          How to make:
          • On an iron skillet put all the kairee on it and cover it to cook on low heat. Turn the side of them when cook from one side after 15 min or its color changes to black. Don’t cook it on high flame otherwise it would not completely tenderize.
          •  After 30 mins when kairee completely cooks remove it from stove and let it cool in fridge.
          •  Remove the skin from each kairee and separate all the pulp from the seed.
          •  Now in blender, blend the pulp of kairee with little water (2-3 cups) so that smooth paste is formed.
          •  Pour the paste in the deep pan and cook it with sugar until it boils (15 min. approx).
          • Cool it by stir continuously otherwise a white layer is formed on the top and it’s very difficult to drain it.




          Discription:Its very different juice and hardly anyone knows about it. Its very healthy and nutritious because of mint and fennel and good for those who has some gastric and heart burning problems.
           Ingredients:
          • 1 bunch of mint leaves
          • ½ cup fennel seeds (saunf)
          • 3-4 green cardamom
          • Sugar to taste
          • 2 glass
          How to make:
          • Blend all of the above ingredients in the blender.
          •  Using drainer or soft cotton piece drain out all the blended liquid so that no particles are in the liquid.
          •  Mix 1 glass of more water in it and sugar (if required).








          Lassi - An Eastern yogurt smoothie

          Discription:Generally smoothies are made from fruits but it can also be made from dry fruits and yogurt. These type of smoothies that are prepared with yogurt are very common in Pakistan and India. Yogurt smoothie is called "Lassi" in traditional language and it is of two types one is sweet in taste and other is salty. Yogurt smoothie is very good for health.
          Ingredients:
          • 1 cup yogurt
          • Sugar - to tase.
          • 2 tbspn milk
            How to make:
            • In a blender mix all the ingredients.
            •  Pour in glass and leave for few minutes in freeze



            Fruit Smoothie

            Discription:Any fruit can be used to make mix smoothie. There is no hard and fast rule for selection of fruits but to make a healthy fruit smoothie, you have to use soft pulpy fruits instead of juicy fruits for instance banana, mango and peach will add more taste in smoothie. I mostly use banana in most of my fruit smoothies.
            Ingredients:
            • ½ cup mango chopped
            • ½ up banana chopped
            • ½ cup apple chopped
            • ½ cup apricot chopped
            • ½ cup fresh cream
            • Sugar to taste
            • 1½ cup milk
              How to make:
              • In blender, blend all the fruits and sugar to make smooth paste. I prefer to use cuinart immersion blender to get fine smoothie. 
              • Add milk and cream in it and mix well.
              •  Pour the shake in glass and put in freeze to chill it.








              Spiced Tea Recipe

              Discription:This spiced tea recipe is generally called Kashmiri Chai in Paskistani cuisine and is very much popular there. It can be prepared in two flavors either sweet or salty with the same method. the key to prepare best kashmiri tea is to cook it for long time for instance if you want it to have it in morning then it is better to cook it over night which would result in excellent flavor.
              Ingredients:
              • 1 kg water (6 large cups)
              • 3 tsp green tea leaves
              • 2 star nuts
              • 6 green cardamoms
              • 500 gm milk
              • Finely chopped pistachio and almonds
              How to make:
              • Put star nuts, green cardamoms and tea leaves in water in a deep sauce pan and let it boil on high flame.
              •  After the tea starts boiling reduce the flame to medium and let it cook for at least an hour until the water reduce to two third.
              •  After that add same amount of cold water which is being reduced (i.e, one third amount of cold water) and let it cook again for 15 mins. on medium heat until boiling point.
              •  After that strain tea water only using strainer and the add milk to the tea, stir the tea continuously using ladle for 10-15 mins. more so that the color starts to turn into pink.
              •  After that add sugar and cook it for further 15 mins. and then serve it as hot. Sprinkle finely chopped almonds and pistachio on top of the tea.



              Whey Protein Shake

              Ingredients
              • 30 gm whey protein powder (vanilla flavor)
              • 8 oz orange juice
              • 4-5 ice cubes
              • 1 tsp vanilla extract
              • 1 banana
              • 2-3 strawberries (fresh or frozen)
              • 3 tbsp brown sugar
              How to make:
              • Take a hand blender and put all the above ingredients to blend well.
              •  After that pour the shake into the glasses and if you like add some topping of whipped cream on this delicious whey protein shake.



              Strawberry Smoothie Recipe

              Jelly Falooda

This is original jelly falooda recipe in which you can also add ingredients of your own choice. This recipe can be prepared in few minutes if you use ready made ice cream.               Ingredients:
              • 2 cups thin white noodles (boiled)
              • 1 ltr milk
              • 3 tbspn strawberry sauce
              • Sugar to taste
              • ½ cup crushed cashew
              • ½ cup crushed almonds
              • ½ cup crushed pistachio
              • ½ cup roasted raisins
              • Any flavor ice cream as required
              • 1 pack apple jello mix
              • 1 pack banana jello mix
              • 1 pack pineapple jello mix
              How to make:
              • Take a deep sauce pan to boil milk.
              •  When the milk starts bubbling, add crushed almonds, pistachio, cashew, sugar and raisins. Cook them on medium heat for at least 15-20 mins so that all flavors of nuts absorbs in the milk and the mixture become denser.
              •  Now pour the milk mixture into a deep bowl and place it in freezer for 30 mins.
              •  Then prepare each flavor of jello mixture separately(just dissolve jello mix in hot water) and freeze it.
              •  After that in a beautiful serving glass of falooda put a big scoop of ice cream with some boiled noodles into the glass, add some pieces of fruit jelly and fill the glass with the chilled milk mixture, Delicious healthy falooda is ready to serve, it gives more taste when it is chilled for further half an hour after assembling.
